  1. That's lovely. Presumably this population ajoins a larger mexican population like the jaguars - is there any threat to these resulting from border blockades?

  2. That was my question, as well. I've heard that the blasted fence goes right across ocelot territory!

Well...we only have 12 days left. Is it possible Obama can take the fence down?

Ya know, that first link of yours also includes a pretty neat story of a whippet, a woman and a red-tail!

    Thanks!!!

  4. Hard to say about the border fence. What stops people might not stop a cat, but no fence is best for wildlife.

Yes, The Outdoor Pressman has lots of interesting coverage, and well worth subscribing to.

  5. I worked for several summers in Laguna Astascosa Wildlife Refuge with Aplomado Falcons. While is saw loads of bobcats i dreamed about seeing one of these guys. One of my co-workers actually did. good to see they are being recorded with game cameras. what a great conservation device the hunting camera has turned out to be.
    cheers, James
