Interesting behavior and a good catch. What's your opinion on which scent was most attractive to the bobcat?
That looked like a very well-fed cat. Love it that he took so much time to enjoy the scent post.
Nowadays, I usually use them together, to cast the net widely, so to speak. But the catnip works very well by itself. I've made my own mixture using freshly crushed catnip leaves and stems and synthetic catnip oil mixed in glycerin. Practically every mammal i have experience with is attracted to castoreum, and it also elicits rubbing and rolling.
Great video. It looked like it was having a ball.
