Splish Splash



With 24 inches of snow on the ground, this bear is nowhere to be seen and most certainly asleep and unwashed.

It wasn't that way last summer, when he was a regular visitor at several pools in the ravines on either side of my house.

As you can see, he had impeccable bathing habits.

I can only imagine that bear with a can of "Hamms" beer in it's paw. Did you get that with the Sony 600 on video mode?

Yet another reminder to always bring along the water purifier when drinking water out of backcountry streams...

Yes, it was the s600, and Yes indeed, one bear's bath water should not be a hiker's thirst quencher.

I love that video. Was it luck, or something else (familiarity?) that kept the bear from giving your camera a bath as well?
